Aliansce negotiates the sale of 4 malls for R$ 800 million for funds

Aliansce Sonae is negotiating the selling of four malls to real estate funds, a transaction that should generate approximately R$ 800 million, according to market sources. The package includes the projects Boulevard Londrina (PR), Boulevard Vila Velha (ES), Uberlândia Shopping (MG), and a fourth project yet to be defined in Rio de Janeiro.

The offer aims to avoid questions from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) regarding market concentration with the future merger between Aliansce and BrMalls. The transaction will become the largest conglomerate in the sector in Latin America, with 69 units – considerably more than its main competitors Multiplan (20) and Iguatemi (16).
