BR Properties announced the signature of a lease agreement with Banco do Brasil for the Ventura Corporate Towers's East and West Towers in the Centre of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the company's statement, the contract is for 120 months (10 years) with an area of 10,589 square metres of properties.
According to data from the SiiLA Brasil commercial real estate market research platform, the two towers are Class A+. The East Tower 33 floors are distributed in 46,984 square metres of the total private area, and the West Tower 32 floors 47,313 square metres of total private area.
CNN Brasil, Souza Cruz, Allianz, Trident Energy, UFRJ and BNDES are among the list of tenants in the East tower whilst Shell, Petrobras, GE Company, Regus and BNDES are in the West Tower.
Also, in the statement, BR Properties said that the lease reinforces the company's strategy of concentrating its portfolio on high-quality properties. "The intensification of the flight-to-quality movement demands offices that allow the adoption of modern layouts and that bring flexibility to the workday of its employees, based on the well-being and connectivity of their teams. In this scenario, it is essential the chosen assets must be located in consolidated urban centres that offer a wide range of services and transport for the population," says the relevant fact.
