Mexico City Closes 1Q2022 With an Increase in Office Space Availability

According to SiiLA in Mexico's Market Update report for the first quarter of 2022 (1Q2022), Mexico City's office market registered an increase in the availability rate compared to the previous quarter, to 21.56 percent.

The firm indicated that such increase is due to the delivery of more than 105,000 square meters (sqm) of new corporate inventory in the city; which are located in properties in the Lomas Palmas, Periferico Sur, Polanco and Santa Fe submarkets.

SiiLA also mentioned that these buildings were already completed during 2021, but for various reasons, they could not start operations until 1Q2022.
