
Exceeding market expectations, Chedraui's total sales increased 67%, at the close of the fourth quarter of 2021 (4Q21).
According to Intercam Banco, this growth was largely inorganic, driven by Smart & Final, a price club that the company recently acquired in the United States.
On the other hand, in Mexico the results were solid and once again surpassed by a wide margin the indicators of the Asociación Nacional De Tiendas De Autoservicio y Departamentales (ANTAD).
