Coppel to Grow Distribution Center and Investment in Mexico

In order to strengthen its logistics operation in Mexico, Grupo Coppel will start up five distribution centers by 2024, which will be located in Texcoco, Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, San Luis Potosí and Tijuana.

With the incorporation of the five centers, it will have a storage capacity of one million 106,892 m2, with the goal of reaching 90,000 daily purchase orders by 2027. This expansion will be supported by an investment of more than 40 billion pesos between this year and 2024.

The retail company intends to boost its warehousing capacity, expand inventories and maintain the stock of its more than 1,600 stores.
