DHL Express Inaugurates Expansion of Its Hub in Mexico City

DHL Express inaugurated the expansion of its hub in Mexico City, a project with an investment of 118 million pesos that will allow it to operate with a shipment volume of 5,200 pieces per hour.

According to Antonio Arranz, CEO of the company in Mexico, the objective of the facilities is to address the lack of connectivity in the south of the country; in addition, it is expected to later have connectivity with the Santa Lucia airport.

"From 2,200 we are going to reach more than 5,000 and we are going to transfer shipments to the entire south, which needs it so much. With this we increase the 20% of cargo volume that we can process, which will allow us to optimize and connect everywhere," he commented.
