FIBRAs in Sight: New Trusts Anticipated in the Mexican Market

For the Mexican Association of Real Estate FIBRAs (Amefibra), the country could soon operate trusts focused on the agricultural sector and rental housing, in line with the trends coming from the U.S. market.

According to the group that brings together 15 real estate FIBRAs, in the short term, new FIBRAs that are in the process of being listed on the stock market could soon launch their initial public offering (IPO).

According to the association, the market pattern is driven by trends in the U.S. market, which is the main reference in terms of grouped real estate to generate capital gains among certificate holders.
