Lakeland Starts Construction of Textile Plant in Nuevo Leon

Lakeland started the construction of its first plant in Nuevo Leon, where it will invest five million dollars and create 400 new jobs.

The plant will be located in the municipality of Guadalupe, and will focus on the manufacture of protective and safety clothing.

Roberson, CEO of Lakeland, said that proximity has been important for the company to improve the resilience of the supply chain, so it was an important factor in selecting Nuevo Leon, with the intention of boosting long-term growth plans.
