Mars Will Invest $100 Million Dollars in Pet Food Plant in Queretaro



Mars Petcare will invest $100 million dollars over the next three years for the expansion of its wet pet food production plant located in Queretaro.


According to the company, these resources will allow it to double the capacity of the complex, reaching a total annual production of more than 70,000 tons, which means more than 55 million sachets of its brands Pedigree, Whiskas, Cesar and Sheba.


The company stated it expects double-digit growth in the pet food category this year, thanks to the increasingly important role that dogs and cats play in people's lives.
