Mattel Allocates 1 Billion Pesos to Expand Its Toy Hub in Nuevo Leon



Mattel plans to invest more than 1 billion pesos this year in the expansion of its toy hub located in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon.

Developed in an area of 200,000 square meters, where the brand's toys are produced, the plant will generate 3,500 jobs.

Ynon Kreiz, CEO of the company, commented that these facilities will become Mattel's "largest in the world".

"Today we celebrate and reaffirm our long-term presence in Mexico by inaugurating the expansion of our plant in Nuevo Leon."


He also reported that the company plans to double its investment over the next five years to expand operations at the hub, called Montoi.
