Portal Norte: The Project that Went from Offices to Hospital Because of the Pandemic

After the forced stoppage due to the sanitary contingency, the Portal Norte project has the green light again, with the joint announcement of Fibra Uno, first in real estate investment in our country, and AXA Seguros. Could the project's approximate investment of 3.5 billion pesos be a message of confidence for the real estate and construction market?

For Gonzalo Robina, Deputy CEO of Fibra Uno, "we are under a new condition, which Covid left us, but we can no longer be lamenting about it and we need to move forward, attached to this new reality".

Portal Norte was conceived as a mixed-use project, conceptualized as a shopping center, offices and hotel, but, Robina explains, "now it will have a twist and will be a shopping center, hospital and medical office tower".
