Siemens Announces the Expansion of Its Monterrey Operations Plant



Siemens announced the expansion of its operations plant in Santa Catarina, Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo Leon.

The project, called Mitras, involves an investment of $683 million pesos and the construction of a new 17,926 square meter building. The German company expects to produce 874,000 plastic parts per day in this building.

Alejandro Preinfalk, CEO of Siemens Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, emphasized the importance of the state for the company's operations.
