Study shows online shopping habits will persist

According to the study data, about 23.5% of respondents continued to shop online daily


The Covid-19 pandemic, which began in March 2020, had a direct impact on the economy and the way people consume products and services. With people having to stay at home and more free time online, consumers began to opt for ease and the need to shop online.


The increase made e-commerce accelerate in the last two years and show significant growth.Even with the resumption of physical retail, vaccination and a decrease in restriction measures, online shopping will continue to rise, according to the research commissioned by Paypal, an online payment company. The survey had a thousand participants who made at least two purchases in November 2021, including people of all age groups and states in Brazil.


According to the study data, about 23.5% of respondents continued to shop online daily. Another 32% said they intend to continue shopping online once a week, and 22% only once a month.
