After registering a significant increase during the last two years of the pandemic, e-commerce continues to be a trend in Brazil. According to data from Neotrust, from January to March 2022, online purchases were up 12.59% — followed by a 26.9% increase in 2021.
This change in Brazilians' consumption habits directly affects another essential sector to meet the growing demand: the logistics warehouses.
A survey by SiiLA, a company specializing in market research, pointed out that 2021 had the lowest average vacancy rate of the last seven years, reaching 10.19%. In some regions of the country, there are no sheds. The study considered only high-end condominiums that follow a series of specifications to ensure better logistical processes.
